WHAT:4th ANNUAL Robert Favors Benifit for Cancer and Race.

WHERE: BTMRA PMSP New track GPS address is 122 Cr-580, Rogersville, AL 35652

WHEN: Nov. 17th

What it is:
Its an annual benefit held in the honor of Robert Favors who is responsible for bringing mower racing to this area WAY BACK. He was a big part of bringing USLMRA to Decatur Ala. and getting racers up and going in this area. He gave me my first whipping at my very first mower race. They came srolling into the fair with a BIG motor home and a 16 foot trailer loaded full of mowers. He was a inspiration this sport. He was taken to soon by cancer. This benefit is in his memory and will be to help 3 of our fellow racers all of the BTMRA/PMSP family. First is Jr White former pro-x racer dealing with cancer for the second time in his life. second is Jonathan Pennington Son of Wayne Pennington also known as BABY BOY who races stock and mod-x. and then there is Brian Smith who many already know has been dealing with his cancer for sometime now. Proceeds from this benefit will go to these three members of our racing family.

NOW onto the details what I have so far...

TURKEY SHOOT 8AM TO 10PM.

STEW and lots of it and many different kids (goat, Chicken Beef etc) WILL BE SERVED FOR LUNCH AT 11:00 TO 12:30.

RACE WILL BE AT 1:00PM RACE FEE WILL BE 25.00 PER DRIVER

AND BEST OF ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SHOOT, LUNCH AND RACE GO TO THE BENIFIT RECIPIENTS

EVERYONE IS INVITED NO MEMBERSHIP FEES ALSO THERE WILL B NO TROPHIES FOR THIS EVENT AS  PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TO RECIPIANTS. It will be more like a test n tune. wWe will practice by class then after everyone gets in some track time we will hold a 15 lap race per class.
This is an event to get together and support fellow racers in a time in their life when some love and support is needed and we are gonna throw down and have a race, they wouldnt have it any other way.

For those that cannot attend and want to help with monetary donations I will get an address you can send to ASAP.

Got a Brand NEW Vanguard V-twin ARC Billet flywheel for the silent auction. Should i put it on heymow and take the highest bid, or just put it up for bids at the track? Keep in mind we want the items to bring the most money possible to benefit these guys. I will also be getting items from many other venders. So bring some extra money with you!
