I'm searching for a chassis for a new build, and I have a question.
When measuring wheelbase, is it measured spindle to axle at the centers?
Thanks
Dan

Yes, center to center. The rule book has your measurments for the class you deside to run. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick response.   I've been over the rule book a few times now, getting familiar with the build regs... looking at building a Sportsman machine for *hopefully* later this year.
On another note, I was at Keg Kounty this past evening, and despite the weather you guys put on a good show.   How long did it take yall to clean the machines afterwards?

Sp class is a good class very fast.Must have a strong motor to run up front. I have a couple starter Sp chassis if your looking for something to start with.As far as the cleaning goes I spent 45 minutes at the car wash last night, this give me a jump on clean up but still have a long way to go. R&R the chain is no problem but everything will have to be checked and lubricated!!! But will be ready for Dixion!!!

I would have stopped by, but Ive been sickley for the past couple days and my voice is gone.    I'll be at Dickson tho so you'll probably see my bald head wandering over to say hello.
I have a couple chassis behind the shop, so I'll be set to get rolling.
I've got a list of things to look for that I've started working at... a paycheck at a time.
I'll be around, 'cause I'm sure I'll run into more questions sooner or later
Thanks

I have washed and washed and washed, top bottom and sides and all over againput it on the lift took the tires off and raised er up high to find MORE mud. I will have to think hard before we do that again. Fixed the grill though no more trailer dent and its repainted. New Stickers on the grill. I think it looks pretty good. Any body take any pictures of the MUD BATH 500.

I was wondering the same thing.   My camera sat on the counter, where I put it so I wouldn't forget to bring it.

If I'm not mistaking Wildthang's wife has it on video. She's about the only one that wasn't covered in mud. I'm pretty sure if she did we'll get a laugh out of it!
