Talked with Larry today and he said the Bleachers were delivered to the track today. We are needing some chain link fence or even some hog fence I belive is what Larry called it We need to do some fencing around the track area. Anyone have any materials they would like to donate or time to assist at the track give Larry a call 256-247-0176

Well we had a good work day at the track. The lady's worked hard in getting the bathrooms back in shape. They are nice and clean aqnd for those that decide to camp over nite, both the men's and lady's bathroom has two showers. So thats coming along very nicely. The track thanks to time and equipment donated by Larry's dad is in great shape. We also got the flag stand built today, its a 4 x 8 flag stand 2 fet off the ground and will have a roof on it. And yes I did help and broke a finger when I hit it with the hammer. THAT hurt!!! Also Jacob my son and John the property owners son along with Michael another boy started painting on the bleachers. They did a good job. All the fencing is up except a very short section. Simply put I think eveyone is going to enjoy this track and facility. It is simply one of the best we have have had. Straights are about 125' nice big sweeping turns thru 1 and 2 onto a nice wide back straight turns 3 and 4 is a bit tighter but wide. The front straight away is 30' wide the back is 35' wide turns are also. oing into turn 4, down the front straight and into 2 its got some banking. it starts going into the back straight it flattens out. We have a straight section roght down the middle we can shorten for stock class and or use as apulling track for some local pullers. Or even a short drag race!!! LOL. I will get some pictures up soon. Going to call it a night.

Things are looking up at the track! Weather was't to bad today happen to get bleechers painted. We like a few boards having them finished. they look real good, we painted them silver. Also Chuck and I got the top on the flag stand and the step's nailed up. Than we got started back on our fence project.I'm still trying to find some more chain link fence. If any one know's about some we can get our hands on that would be nice? If not I'll have to put hog wire up for now. What we got done so far look's good! Still got to put the showers up in the ladies restroom and build a flower bed in the parking lot over that septic tank got a real nice B&J campground sign to put in it. We need some dry weather in the next few weeks bad so we can finish up the dirt work. The back straight away still has water on it. The 17 of march is around the corner hope mother nature will work with us!!!! If not we'll do the best we can with what we have to work with. Other than getting dirt work finished I don't see a problem with any thing else. Well that's that maybe the next weekend we work will be as good as our last few!!!!THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP FOLKS!!!!!

Will you be coming to Talladega, on the 3rd because I have about 150' of chain link fence give or take that I have roled up in my back yard that I don't need. It's 4' tall, but I don't the poles any more. If you would like it you can have it. I will give it to you at Talladega.
