When putting oil seal in place, does the outer edge of seal need to line up at the bottom of the chamfer in case? And do you need any kind of silicon or sealer on the seal to hold it in place? Or will it stay in place just by itself? Thanks, Brian

If the inside of the input housing is not wore alot it will stay in on its own. If Loose I will tap the bearing in just enough the seal goes in deep enough and I can also put an oem o-ring on top that genearlly will do the trick as once assembled the washer and oring holds the seal in. Does that make sense Brian.
