The race at Talladege, is on the 3rd of March. I will set it up with the track officials. We will be running the DSLMRA rules. It will be a non points race. You can find the rules at dslmra.zoomshare.com If my memory serves me correctly this should be an afternoon race. Our rules are simple. If you have a mower that will pass a USLMRA inspection it will pass ours. Talladega, is a fun track to race. It has at least 9 or 10 degrees of banking in the corners and 4 or 5 degrees on the straits. If you think that you can make it please shoot me an e-mail. michael.a.formentini@us.army.mil So I can see how many classes that we will run and have trophies for. Oh and there will be $ to the top 3 in each class. Pay back is clearly explained in our rules page and how it works. I hope to see y'all.

I talked with track officials today. It's all set up, the race is on and with the DSLMRA, BTMRA, and the USLMRA all being there. I think I'm going to call this race the King of The Hill. Now who's it gonna be. (the King of the hill?) Friday MAR,2. 7pm to 9pm will be open practice. On MAR,3. The gates open at 9am, pratice is form 11am to 2pm and racing shortly there after. Same as before gate entery fee is $5 and pit pass is $10. Race entry fee is $20. with 100% pay back.

Good question? I forgot to ask them that. I would assume that there will be a $5 track insurance fee. I will call tonight and post it when I get home from work.

Good deal. Next question How far you gonna break the classes down, I know we will have several Super Sportsman and several sportsman and I know two true FX mowers, and possibly a few mini sportsman. Its looking like a good feild of mowers if everyone that says they going goes.

OK George, this is where everyone is going to have to be on the honor system. in order to run in the stock single class they have to have a trans-axle transmission, no billet on the motor, and a stock cam. if not we will class them in single mod. The same goes for the twin cyl. You must have a trans-axle transmission, no billet on the motor, and a stock cam to run in the stock twin class, or you will be class in the twin mod class. The FX will run in our mow outlaw class. I haven't got a hold of the track official yet he hasen't got home from work. As soon as you can, please send me a brake down of who's coming by DSLMRA class so I can get the throphies lined up for the additional classes. I already have the stock single and twin mod taken care of.

Thanks George, I couldn't get a hold of Mike, I will try again tomorrow. Most of our mowers are in the stock single. We have 2 for sure in twin mod, and 1 in mow outlaw. I hear that Shane Shellnut is going to be there and the possibility of Bobby Cleveland. This race is really looking good. I'm looking forward to it.
