Can somebody clue me in on lubrication?
I have cleaned out the black grease. I have cleaned every thing to bright clean. I put 90 w differential oil in the unit. I split it between the Transmission section and the newly welded differential section. Silicone sealed the seams and put on a vent. I put a grease zerk in the space between the two input shaft bearings.
My question is??
Will the gear oil work its way from the differential section into the axle/case bearing area and provide the needed lubrication?

Any thoughts or suggestions
Thanks

Yes it will do so and it will tend to seep out around your axles and the stock brake assembly, I have found in transaxles other than the 820 series I prefer to use 00 grease its a split between true gear oil and grease. Lubrication and it getting to everything is very good it doesn't wad up like grease and flows almost as good as oil. Doesn't leak out as easily as oil though.

Thanks for the input George.

That brings up other questions.

1)   What amount of 00 grease should I put in?
2)   Should I split it between the trans section and the differential section? I know they are not sealed separately but there is a high spot
      between the two areas.
3)   Also, do you recommend a little grease in the two wells in the axle housing between the inner and outer axle support bearing area?

Thanks in advance.

press them out take em to a bearing shop and they can generally cross em over to something. Unless you have a parts break down its the best and cheapest way.
