Yes it will do so and it will tend to seep out around your axles and the stock brake assembly, I have found in transaxles other than the 820 series I prefer to use 00 grease its a split between true gear oil and grease. Lubrication and it getting to everything is very good it doesn't wad up like grease and flows almost as good as oil. Doesn't leak out as easily as oil though.
