As for me, my wife really enjoyed the trip there with the creek, and it's a lot closer for me than Cloverdale. I, however, am only running a limited schedule with you guys. If your schedule allows, I think you would get racers.

Yup, We cannot do itin April. They were to send me a fax number so I could send them a schedule to look at. But have heard nothing.
On another note I recieved a call from a Mr. Weaver today from Lewisburg Lions Club the one where MTLMRA raced there first race last year they want a race. Told them it would be mid JULY or later if we could. Sent them a schedule and will see what they request. Then we will decide if we can or want to. It would be a paying event. And real close to you Bill.

George, these guys did an outstanding job of promotion last year. Great track! Large, enthusiastic crowd, etc. I think this is really good news.

Yeah, As long as it isn't rained out again. Today, turn 4 would be a little damp.

Our initial agreement with them were they pay for trophies, and ambulance prep the track (which they never did) myself and Jake always went down the friday before and did it, and they keep concessions and gate fees. We were to get a driver and one into the gate free. There at the end 3 gentlemen ask me to come talk to them. So we went into the office/concession room. They said they were making no money. That were were using there tractor and there gas, there water and electricity. So they wanted us to pay for all the rophies, the ambulance fee plus the gate fee. Which we get none of. They wanted the karters to run on our insurance. This was with two races to go last year. This has basically been the case almost everytime we been there over the last 7 years. I told them we will not pay for the torphies or the ambulance and a driver and one will get in free or they pay us like anyother venue. They said they would consider it. They still have not called back with a fax number for me to send them a schedule. Yall discuss this with the racers at the race the 19th and decide what ya wanna do.
Also I have been contacted by Lewisburg Lions club they want a race (paying venue) and I told them we could not even consider another till after mid July. Faxed them a schedule and told him to subit some dates and we would see what we could do. I do not want to over load us. Gas is high. Discuss this also the 19th and let me know what everyone wants. They do not wanna deal with Pete no more, and East TN and US wanted to much for them to handle it.

OH OK great yea I am all for doing one there. My biggest worry is we do not over load the schedule. I am glad to have some insight on this venue. I am at this point waitng to hear from them so we can get a date hammered out. Soon as I hear something I will let everyone know something so we can make a decision.
