Ok I got 2 peerless trans today. One is a 756 and the other is what I have a question about. It doesnt have a tag with the model # and the only #'s I see are 3094-P1.Its a 5 fwrd w/reverse and it was a side shift in a toro mower. Then which trans should i use to race the 756 is a 3 speed.

TORO was bad about assigning their own number to parts they didn't make which meant they removed the original number. Either will work the 5 speed race in third the 3 spped race in second its the same gear in both. Follow my directions in the driveline section on race prepping a 700 and you should get good life from both.

That is a pretty straight forward thing. Be sure the tabs on the brass bushings are in the slots instead of turned up or down.they should point toward the center. Also the shift collar should have the wider side toward the gears. Hope this helps.
